We completely understand that your best buddy might need a little help in becoming the well-mannered, obedient family member that you are hoping for. That's our passion and our expertise and we are here to help! All of our training is done with positive reinforcement so that you and your best buddy will enjoy these sessions. We utilize positive "clicker training" which you will learn all about once you join us! If you prefer not to use a clicker, that's fine as well since it's a preferred choice but not mandatory. Learning will be fun and exciting for both the humans and the dogs, we guarantee it!
Whether you have a brand new puppy or a "senior citizen" that needs some training, we have a class designed to meet your needs. Many classes and times are available to fit your busy schedule. We are more than happy to work with you to find a class that best fits your needs.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
All breeds and sizes of dogs are welcomed at Best Buddy Pet Training! We ask that puppies have their first round of vaccinations completed including, as a minimum:
Parvovirus
Distemper
Parainfluenza
Rabies (age appropriate)
It's never too early to start training your new family member to be well-behaved as long as the vaccinations have been taken care of. Proof of vaccinations will be required upon arrival at the first class.
CLASS COSTS AND DURATION:
All classes are held ONCE A WEEK for 7 WEEKS and last ONE HOUR. Cost is $100 for the entire 7 week course (holiday time will be rescheduled for an extra week). Pick your class level described on the next page and contact us to sign up.
We also offer a 4 WEEK CLASS. This class lasts for ONE HOUR AND THIRTY MINUTES. This is a great alternative for those that just can't squeeze in 7 full weeks of training but still want to take a course with their pup/dog. Cost for this class is $70. However, it is only available for the Basics and Beyond the Basics classes because the puppies really need the full 7-week course for learning.Puppy class

We have the most beautiful setting for our training classes that is second to none in the area! No stuffy retail store for our classes! Talk about great socialization opportunities! Our studio is located in Longmont and there is plenty of FREE, easy parking available right at the door! There is parking on the street AND in a parking lot in the back (all lighted well), so no worries about that usual hassle downtown since we have such a great location. Give us a call to come by and see our new studio.
NO BAD DOGS
The day a puppy is born it is learning. From the very first drink of milk, the first attempt to play, the first squeal or bark. Puppies start learning from day one and they keep learning. Untrained puppies and dogs learn things, but sometimes it is just not things we want. These dogs can bring complete and utter havoc on our lives. We must remember there is no such thing as a bad dog they, just do what comes naturally. Puppies and dogs just need a helping hand. With the right guidance, they can learn what we would like. To ensure we are providing the best training possible, we limit our classes to 6 puppies/dogs per instructor. Therefore, if you see a class that fits your schedule, please sign up as soon as possible before the class is sold out!
We also offer PRIVATE TRAINING CLASSES, either at the training facility or your home. Please contact us directly for details and information on this option. We understand that sometimes it is just more appropriate to begin the training privately in order to overcome specific behavioral problems that your pet may be displaying. Private classes begin at just $45 an hour, no minimums! (Additional charges may apply for travel more than 25 miles from our location in Longmont.)
